A pillow for Judy.

My dear friend Judy just moved into their new home in San Clemente, California.  I thought I'd make her a pillow as her house warming gift.  It's true "If You're Lucky Enough To Live At The Beach, You're Lucky Enough".

Quilt for my grand-baby. This is just in the beginning process. I'm close to being able to cut it apart and turn it into a crib quilt.  If it's a girl I'll just piece the little girls together and visa versa if it's a boy.

He is so darn cute!

I'm hand embroidering each square and then will sew with strips of fabric when I'm ready to put it all together.  This had been a labor of love!

I don't know which is cuter - the little girls or the little boys.

She is my favorite.

Before and After

I thought I'd share a little before and after photo. My mother had these old dining chairs with a blue checked pattern. They were dated and dirty. She picked out a beautiful coral/floral fabric. Please enjoy the before and after photos.

I LOVE THE BACK OF THE CHAIR.

FINISHED PRODUCT!

Chair for April

It was a family affair putting the chair together.
Finished product.
Cutting a pattern.
Me, sewing away.

I spent Saturday upholstering a chair with my daughter-in-law April. We spent eight hours tearing the chair apart, sewing and stapling. Thank goodness Brent and Dave stepped in to help as it was truly a family project.
